NoshigeSound just dropped noshige76, a new FET-style compressor plugin (think classic 1176 vibes), and they’re giving it away completely free until August 19th (perpetual license).
The plugin is designed to recreate the character of a classic 1176-style compressor, but instead of relying on traditional circuit modeling, noshige76 uses a trained AI model based on a real vintage hardware unit.
The model was trained across the compressor’s different control settings, allowing it to respond dynamically as you adjust the Input, Output, Attack, Release, and Ratio controls.
There are two processing modes to choose from. PRO uses the full model for maximum accuracy, while LITE reduces CPU usage at the cost of some modeling precision.
