Mercuriall Audio has expanded its Ampbox lineup with Ubersonic, a new amp sim inspired by the legendary Bogner Überschall Rev. Blue.

If you’re into modern metal, hardcore, or heavy drop-tuned riffs, this one is clearly aimed at delivering the tight low end and aggressive saturation those styles demand.

Powered by Mercuriall’s latest Neural Hybrid Engine 3.1, Ubersonic is designed to capture not only the amp’s tone but also its dynamic feel and response.

The plugin models a 12AX7-driven preamp feeding an EL34 power section, resulting in thick distortion with enough clarity to keep complex chords and fast riffs well defined.

Like the rest of the Ampbox ecosystem, Ubersonic works inside the modular Ampbox platform, giving users access to a large collection of built-in pedals, effects, cabinet options, and routing flexibility.

The standalone version is also included, making it easy to practice or record without opening a DAW.
