If you’re into vintage synth sounds, there’s a new freebie worth checking out. Overload Audio just released MOODYSIX, a virtual synth inspired by the classic Korg Polysix, and it brings a surprisingly authentic analog vibe for a free plugin.
What makes MOODYSIX stand out is that it doesn’t just recreate the original hardware — it also adds a few popular modifications that synth fans used to install on real Polysix units back in the day.
Alongside the expected warm pads, basses, and vintage-style leads, you also get expanded modulation options, extra noise generators, smoother portamento, and some nice detune features for thicker sounds.
