Bogren Digital just dropped a brand-new free VST plugin called IRDX Studio, and honestly, it looks like a really solid option for anyone working with guitar amp sims and impulse responses.
At its core, IRDX Studio is an IR loader, but it goes way beyond the usual “load-and-go” setup. You can blend up to five different IRs together, tweak EQ and phase settings individually, and organize huge IR libraries without getting completely lost in folders.
One of the coolest features is the fast audition system, which lets you quickly preview and compare cabinet tones while dialing in a mix.
There’s also an optional upgrade that unlocks Bogren’s IRDX speaker dynamics technology, which is designed to make static impulse responses feel more realistic and responsive when you play.
