Marco Dodin just dropped his debut plugin as an independent developer, and it’s completely free. It’s called Cross The Bridge, a guitar amp sim suite packed into a single lightweight VST3 plugin that runs on both Windows and macOS.
The suite features ten vintage-inspired amplifier models, split into three clean, four crunch, and three medium-to-high gain options. Each one has its own distinct clipping character, and there’s even a handy treble booster built in that can push things into higher gain territory when you need it.
The tones are clearly influenced by those classic 1960s and 1970s recordings.
