If you’re into experimental effects and weird sound design tools, Unfiltered Audio just dropped a seriously cool freebie called BattleFX.
The plugin takes some of the standout effects from their Battalion drum synth and turns them into a standalone multi-FX processor you can throw onto basically anything. The highlight here is definitely the combination of the Shatter Delay and Headspace Reverb.
The delay leans into glitchy granular territory without falling apart when you automate timing, while the reverb ranges from lush and spacious to completely destroyed depending on the mode you choose.
There are ten reverb flavors included, and a few of them get surprisingly aggressive in a good way.
