ACE Studio continues to push AI music production forward with a major expansion of its AI Instruments lineup. One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of AI String Sections, developed in collaboration with the Budapest Art Orchestra.
Rather than relying on traditional sample libraries, these new string ensembles are designed to capture the subtle phrasing, dynamics, and expression of real orchestral performances, making it easier to create convincing arrangements directly from MIDI. The update also brings several new solo instruments to the platform.
Producers can now explore the expressive sound of the dizi, alongside newly added trombone and clarinet instruments, giving composers access to a wider range of orchestral, cinematic, and world-music textures. These additions build on ACE Studio’s growing collection of AI-powered instruments, which already includes strings, brass, woodwinds, and other artist-trained performances.
What stands out about ACE Studio’s approach is its focus on realism and musicality. The instruments are trained from performances by real musicians and include articulation controls that help transform simple MIDI notes into more natural-sounding performances.
