Their latest release, VinylSynth Jr, combines sound engines sampled directly from real vinyl recordings with modern synth waveforms and onboard effects—and it’s available as a 100% FREE download.
The main attraction is the Sample layer, which uses material recorded from vinyl, including string and vocal sounds. You can push the character further with controls for Drive and vinyl Crackle, making it easy to go from subtle vintage warmth to something much more worn and gritty.
You layer that with a simple synth oscillator and a percussive one-shot section, then shape everything with unison, an arpeggiator, amp envelope, filter, and a solid set of built-in effects (Crunch, Compressor, Phaser, Delay, Reverb).
