The company Baby Audio just released some days ago their brand new plugin called Smooth operator. A new tool that is made to remove bad frequency content in an intelligent way.
In this video I go over all the features and controls that makes this plugin so special, I also show you how to use it further to remove annoying and resonant frequencies on vocals and guitars in a metal mix.
This plugin combines highly intelligent algorithms using dynamic eq, spectral compression and resonanance supression in real time making very easy to clean up any track in your mix. To me it’s like a combination of the plugins Soothe 2 and Gullfoss but much more affordable.
