These 8 Classic BOSS Pedals Are Now Plugins, But Are They Worth It? – My Opinion

Roland and its guitar division, BOSS, have just dropped the BOSS Effects Pedals in plugin format, bringing eight legendary compact pedals into your DAW for the first time. These plugins emulate the timeless sounds of classics like the OD-1 OverDrive, DS-1 Distortion, SD-1 SUPER OverDrive, PH-1 Phaser, SP-1 Spectrum, SG-1 Slow Gear, CS-1 Compression Sustainer, and TW-1 T Wah.

These effects promise to offer genuine analog-modeled tone with intuitive interfaces, zero latency, and full DAW automation.
