Universal Audio just dropped the UAD Explore FREE bundle, which includes eight of their well-known plugins plus the LUNA DAW — all completely free, no hardware required. And yeah, not a trial, not a limited promo… just free.
What’s interesting is that a lot of these plugins have been given away individually before. Stuff like the 1176, LA-2A, and the 610 preamp have popped up in past promos. But now they’ve bundled everything together permanently, which makes this feel less like a giveaway and more like an entry point into the UAD ecosystem.
The bundle itself actually covers a lot of ground. You’ve got your classic compression (1176, LA-2A), some analog-style tone shaping with the 610, a plate reverb, a channel strip, even a synth and an amp sim.
