Neural Dsp just released the Archetype Tom Morello, a full suite of plugins & guitar amp sim that has the full signal chain that Mr. Tom Morello uses with Rage Against The Machine & other projects.
I looked up for free vsts that might get you closer to his guitar tone & also created some impulse responses for the job that you can get fully free.
