This is my effort on recreating Black Sabbath’s master of reality guitar sound using only free vst plugins & free amp sim with a guitar impulse response that you can get 100% free aswell.
In this video I go over some of the main gear & equipment Tony Iommi used to record this legendary album, I analyze more in depth his guitar sound and try to recreate it using only free tools that are available at our disposal easily & the gear that I already have.
Of course I’m not gonna get there 100% but what do you think? Was it close? Do you enjoy this legendary guitar tone? Any additional suggestions you have?
