The new TONE3000 plugin is out, and it’s completely free for macOS, Windows, and Linux. If you’ve been hanging around the NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) world, you already know TONE3000 as the massive community library of gear captures.
This official plugin finally makes diving into that library ridiculously easy—no more juggling files or external loaders. Just open it in your DAW (or run the standalone) and you’ve got instant access to a huge collection of NAM profiles covering amps, cabs, pedals, outboard gear, full signal chains, different mic positions, and specific settings.
Under the hood it’s running Neural Amp Modeler A2 technology, the latest generation that’s been getting serious praise for how close it gets to real gear—both in tone and that reactive, “alive” feel that a lot of older digital amps never quite nailed.
