Every once in a while, a plugin comes along that reminds you why sound design is actually fun. Jonas Eriksson just released Tape Fiasco, and while the name might sound like a disaster, the results are pure time-bending bliss. It’s a multi-effect powerhouse that focuses on three things: Stretch, Stutter, and Varispeed.
What’s cool is you can use these effects on their own or stack them for some seriously unpredictable, expressive results — think glitch meets tape-machine chaos. The interface might look busy at first, but once you start tweaking it becomes surprisingly intuitive.
Let me know what you think of this plugin.
