I just stumbled upon a really cool brand new free drum plugin that I wanted to share with you all! It’s the free version of Drum Locker from Audio Assault. This isn’t just a basic plugin; it’s actually a sample library player that comes with a “super dry kit” inspired by the 70s.
The free version comes with a handful of essential modules that let you shape your drum sound right out of the gate. You get a Compressor to add punch and control dynamics, an EQ to carve out the perfect tone, Reverb & other stuff.
In this video I walk you through the features & controls, playthrough the different sounds possible with processed & unprocessed signal & use it in a full mix too.
